On September 26th, T-Mobile unveiled the next chapter in their Sidekick legacy. This fall, there will be not one, but two - TWO NEW SIDEKICKS!!! Anyone who knows me knows that I'm an avid fan of the multimedia device, and I could hardly contain myself when I heard the news. The first model to be released (October 17th for current T-Mobile users, October 24th to the general public) will be the Sidekick LX - which T-Mobile is referring to as their "luxury" model. Some of the new features will include a larger screen, upgraded music player, improved web browsing and increased memory. The second release, the Sidekick Slide, takes on a different feel from it's predecessors. Instead of the trademark swivel screen that helped the Sidekick become immensely popular, the Slide will come equipped with a screen that slides up to reveal it's full QWERTY keypad. The Sidekick Slide is expected to hit the streets sometime in November. Both models will also come with Myspace Mobile, a delightful new feature that will definitely bring fans of the Sidekick and Myspace closer together. Aiight, I'll holla at ya'll later... I gotta go reserve mine now!
Here's some footage of the new devices for those of ya'll who can't wait (like me...lol). Enjoy!!!

If you're a fan of video games, then I'm quite sure you're aware that one of the most anticipated games of 2007 was released this past week. The third installment of Microsoft's popular Halo trilogy, "Halo 3", hit store shelves on Tuesday, September 25th - and they sure didn't stay there for long! Back in May 2007, officials for the video game store GameStop reported that pre-orders for Halo 3, which runs on Microsoft's XBOX system, had already reached the four million mark in North America alone. By the close of opening day, Microsoft had confirmed an astronomical $170 million in sales, making it the largest single-day release in entertainment history.

If you haven't already heard of "The Cool Kids", you're certainly missing out on the next big thing in the making. The Illinois natives, known as Chuck and Mikey, have an 80's-90'ish kind of innovative sound, all their own. Perhaps this is because they do all their own shit. They discovered each other about a year and a half ago, by way of producing tracks. They then came up with the bright idea to join forces and start rapping as well. I guess you can say the rest is history. Often compared to the likes of Outkast, Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell, this hip hop duo prefers not to be categorized in any specific genre of music - Which explains how they came up with their name. According to their interview with Scheme magazine, Chuck states, with a title like The Cool Kids, "you don't know what to expect." I know I'm expecting to hear a lot more about these guys sooner than later. In the meantime, check out the new video for their single, "Black Mags."

To celebrate five strong years in the market, KING Magazine in association with Bud Select attempted to throw the party of all parties - one that would last for ten days and span over ten cities! The last stop on their list was Wednesday night in NYC, so you know we had to come through. Damn, KING really knows how to party! Shout out to Bud Select for providing the FREE (yes, FREE) drinks. You know our motto over here in the world of Tingy: If it ain't free it ain't right! Here go some of the pics...
Here's the cover of the next issue of KING Magazine... I'm sure it's gonna be a hot one!
The HNIC over @ King - Datwon Thomas
Irv Gotti looked VERY bothered. Could he have read some of the interview Ashanti gave King for the upcoming issue? Hmm...
Terrence and Rocsi from BET's "106 & Park" were in the building...
Rocsi: "Hey girl, where'd you get those shoes?" ErikaClare: "What... these old things? Rodeo Drive, I think." LOL
Wait... I thought we were supposed to be taking pics, not posing in them. Oh well. Ya'll better get yours - cause we DAMN sure gonna get ours!!! (Good lookin' on the pic, Kurt. We see you!)
Tuesday night was the official launch party for Run Atheletics' latest sneaker collaboration with Nintendo. The festivities took place at 10 Rockerfeller Plaza in NYC. We got the chance to play some games, politic with some folks, and even manage to drink about ten free Vitamin Water energy drinks (we were bouncing around the place like two hyperactive five year olds.) Shout out to DJ Clark Kent for keeping the party jumping, too. Rev Run was in the building, and he brought his little man Diggy along. Funny, as daddy was busy talking to press and making nice with the paparazzi, Diggy looked like he was bored out of his mind! I don't blame you Diggs! I was trying to get my game on too!

Move over Gwen, Fergie, and oh god Britney, you're over! It looks like we found ourselves a new pop princess who will be topping the charts before you know it. Her name is Stefani Vara, and she's HOT! Her first single entitled "Lately" catches you instantly with its smooth melody and ultra sexy lyrics. You'll find yourself singing along after your first listen! Not to mention, the girl is gorgeous and genuinely sweet. We were fortunate enough to catch up with her yesterday for a few flicks (see below) at the launch of the new Run Athletics line, hosted by Rev Run himself, at the Nintendo World Store in NYC. (We'll give you the scoop and post all the pics from that event later.) Stefani's new single is now available for purchase on itunes. Her highly anticipated album titled Storybook Diaries will be dropping sometime this fall, so be sure to cop that too! Remember, you heard it here first...

I am so happy to report that Usher and mom, Jonetta, reunited yesterday at Cipriani for the launch of his new fragrances, USHER for men and USHER for women. See, no "Maneka" can come between a mother and son's bond (ha,ha). Though you won't see any pictures of the three of them together. Tameka knew to keep her distance. Some of the other guests celebrating were Beyonce, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly, Ludacris, Fonsworth Bentley and even Martha Stewart. Apparently, the reunion isn't the only happy news to report. Sources say Usher also announced that he's having a baby boy! Good for you Ush... Count your lucky stars it wasn't a girl. God, that was terrible. Oh well ;-P

We got our hands on some pics from Cassie's recent photoshoot. She is undoubtedly beautiful in the face, but from the neck down, the girl looks sick. At least in these photos. I guess that's what modeling is all about though. Perhaps THIS is your calling Cass...

We stumbled across a recent pic of Lori Ann Gibson, the notorious choreographer from Diddy's, "Making the Band" show on MTV. In the last season, Lori Ann & Diddy got in a heated argument about mis-scheduling dance rehearsals for the group. Poor thing. I haven't heard anything about her since. Funny how Diddy tends to have that affect on people... and their careers. Just for shits and giggles, here's a clip of that episode.

Ok - so here's Rihanna's new one, written by and featuring Ne-Yo. Notice how he never touches Rihanna once in the video. Hmmm....

By now, the whole world has probably heard of Ne-Yo, or at least sung along with one of the many hits that he's penned. He is without a doubt one of the most talented writers we've heard in a while. Still, something about this guy just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's the horrible fashion sense he has (a stylist is long overdue for you buddy, and if you have one already, fire him IMMEDIATELY). Maybe it's the constant Michael Jackson imitations or pink-colored lip gloss (your lip gloss is definitely NOT poppin' my man). Maybe if he stopped denying the homosexual allegations and just came out and admitted he was gay... nah. Wouldn't matter. I'm still not feeling this dude. Here's his new video anyway.

It looks like our boy Usher has a new song. It's called "Touch", and you know it's already leaked to the web. Not sure how I feel about it just yet. Check out the snippet and tell us what you think...

Is it just us, or did Hayden Panettiere just fall out of the sky? To be honest, the Heroes star has been around for quite some time now, appearing in movies like, Remember the Titans, back in 2000 and numerous movies and T.V. shows since. But all of a sudden, she's the freshest thing since sliced bread. I guess that's what happens when you're rich, blonde and barely legal. Dakota, you're up next!

Jay-Z's new single "Blue Magic" from the upcoming film American Gangster has already leaked to the internet last week. Well, it looks like there's a new video for the song too. Sources say it's just a "pre-video", directed by Rik Cordero. DJ Enuff and DJ Clue both made special appearances in the clip. Allegedly, Jay and Pharell were in Chelsea this past weekend filming the real video, directed by none other than Hype Williams. We'll keep you posted on that. In the meantime, watch this:
This song MIGHT just grow on me...
Relatively speaking, I can't WAIT for this movie to come out! Here's the trailer...

With Fall approaching, Winter is also just around the corner. Of course, we all want to bundle up in style. "Moncler" is a unisex designer coat line, particularly known for it's extremely warm down interior. This is no Northface people, definitely top of the line ish' inside and out. They come in several yummy colors and styles - each one hot. The catch? Your pockets must be heavy enough to afford the $850-$1200 price tag. It is worth it...if you have it like that. Check it out the website, www.moncler.com.

By now you may have heard the rumors that actress Gabrielle Union is dating rapper Ludacris. Well, it appears this may very well be so. Apparently, Gabby was Luda's special invited guest at his 30th birthday bash held at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, September 7th. Allegedly, a source who attended the exclusive event told In Touch Weekly magazine that "they were openly affectionate." Hmmm, this could be pretty spicy. I actually think they're pretty cute... Let's stick with this one for a while Gabby.
We all know about the imfamous allegations made by Karrine Steffans, BKA "Superhead", in the ever popular tell-all book, "Confessions of a Video Vixen". Well with the release of her second book "The Vixen Diaries" on September 25th, Big Tigger's panties are in a bunch all over again. Allegedly, he plans to sue Karrine for slander, over the rumor that he and model Tyson Beckford had "sexual relations." I guess you have to at least try to defend yourself. Anyway, some weeks back, Karrine appeared on Jamie Foxx's radio show, "Foxxhole." Here's the story according to the Panache Report:
“The following transpired on the Jamie Foxx radio show (Foxxhole). Karrine said she saw Tigger in a hotel room with another man in a compromising position. Jamie Foxx’s staff called Tigger and put him on the air where he -
A) Vehemently said that Karinne was lying.
B) That he could not understand why Karrine would say something like that when he gave her money to support her kid when she was broke, and...
C) That “he has never been in front of or behind any man.”
Karrine’s response was, “but you were lying on your back.” Karrine thanked Tigger for giving her money for her son, but immediately questioned Tigger, “so you’re going to lie? You don't remember Spring Break [year] when you and Tyson Beckford were in the hotel room? You're going to say that's not true Tigger?" The response from Tigger was that she had no proof and "nothing has ever been in his a**"
Umm, umm, umm. All I have to say is, Tigger, "How you doin'???"
Here we have a couple of shots of Jay-Z and Beyonce taken recently in NYC (Check out Jay's Crooks & Castles' t-shirt). You can say what you want about these two individually, but together, you must admit they do make a hot couple. Espicially, when Beyonce has her wig freshly done...

Recent reports have surfaced alleging that Hollywood's new slore - I mean, "it" girl Kim Kardashian, did a photoshoot for Playboy magazine. Well in fact, it's been leaked that Hef hand picked the beauty himself for the cover of the December issue! But that's not all. She will reportedly have a lengthy twelve page spread in which she shows the world (yet again) one whole boob and bare ass. What a way to redeem herself from all the "humiliation" she faced with the sex-tape... (her words, not mine) More power to ya, I guess. Btw, did you see that tape? If so, tell me what happened... I fell asleep half-way through it.

Is it only me, or is this remix not all I expected it would be?!? I mean let's be real - I never expect too much from Diddy (lyrically that is), but I surely thought Hov was going to make me proud. I must say I was a tad disappointed with the results. Nevertheless, you can always count on Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex to hype up a song and MAKE you like it. F'in Dick-Rider... LOL.
